Following with the continuously decline of global fuel prices, Malaysia budget airline - AirAsia has announced to get rid of fuel surcharges on all its flights including on long-haul carrier AirAsia X. Although we still have to pay for the airport tax as usual, but I believe it is good enough to stop paying for the averaging RM47 fuel surcharge.

Besides, AirAsia is also having a 5-day campaign which offers 500,000 free seats started on midnight Wednesday for flights in the third quarter of 2009.

Australia was honored the first place with its display themed ‘Aurora Australia’.

In 2008, for the second time Malaysia is going to organize the International Fireworks Competition. This year’s participants are Malaysia – the host itself, China, Canada and Spain to compete for the second ‘Golden Merdeka Trophy’.
