Introduction

Cameron Highlands is one of the famous and largest hill resorts in the country. Located at 1524 meters above the sea level in Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia. Cameron Highlands was named after William Cameron, a government surveyor who discovered Cameron Highlands in 1885. He also described Cameron Highlands as “A fine plateau shut in by mountains”. However, the path up the mountain was improved only in the early 1920s, which also led to the development of a hill station.

The fertile rich soil together with the cool climate(10-25 degree Celsius) has made it a suitable place for plantation. Among the most popular agriculture activities in Cameron Highlands including tea, strawberry and vegetable plantations.
