Reaching at the Pangkor jetty, there are many public transports around. Visitors can easily get a taxi to their hotel at a very reasonable price. Besides that, car, motorcycle and bicycle rental are also available. Visitors who like to explore on their own can rent one of the transport to get around on the island.

As for accommodation, there are many hotels and motels with different rates and prices. The range can be from budget to five stars hotel. Visitors can choose their hotel according to their budget and preferences. For five stars hotel, there are Pangkor Laut resort which offer international chalet-type resort with facilities like sea sports, gymnasium, spa and bar; and the Pan Pacific hotel which situated at the Golden Sand.

Some of the attractions in Pangkor include the beautiful beach, Chinese temples, Dutch Fort and Sacred Rock (Batu Bersurat). Along the beach, visitors can sunbathing, play water sports like snorkeling, fishing, swimming, island hopping and even parachuting. Among the famous Chinese temple on the island are the Lin Chi Kong and Fu Lin Kong. The architecture of the temple is unique and many people will come and pray to get some blessing for their loved ones.

As an island, Pangkor also offers fresh sea food. Seafood can be easily being eaten from the stalls or restaurants. There are factories on the island that manufacture local products like the fish and prawn crackers (keropok), anchovies and dried salted fish. Visitors shall not miss to go there and buy these local products at a very reasonable low price.
